Phillip Williams’ practice areas involve a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of investment-grade property, commercial development, office, industrial, and retail leasing, and a broad range of financing transactions.  Phillip also works on corporate matters related to real estate transactions, including the formation of business entities, the negotiation of joint ventures, corporate governance, and other real estate-related commercial transactions.

During law school, Phillip served as a judicial intern for The Honorable David Hittner of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas.

  • Joint Venture Investments: Represents private equity firms and fund advisors in the structuring, negotiation, and administration of multi-party joint ventures for all stages of the life cycle of a real estate investment
  • Development: Represents owners and developers in all stages of the development of retail, office, industrial, and multifamily projects, including build-to-suit transactions and agreements to purchase upon completion
  • Finance: Represents institutional lenders, life companies and banks in connection with debt and equity transactions, permanent and construction financing, and mezzanine financing
  • Leasing: Negotiates office, retail and industrial leases and subleases and development ground leases
