Overview

Alex Wilson is an associate in the bankruptcy practice group, where he works with clients to evaluate and protect their rights and financial interests, pursue and defend claims, and develop practical strategies for resolving business disputes.

Prior to joining Andrews Myers, Alex served for two years as a term law clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey P Norman of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. During his federal clerkship, Alexander gained significant insight into complex bankruptcy proceedings, contested matters, and adversary litigation, as well as the legal and practical issues facing debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders in financially distressed situations. His experience inside one of the nation's busiest bankruptcy districts provides him with a valuable perspective on bankruptcy practice and procedure, and the considerations that can influence the resolution of complex financial disputes.
