The post-COVID-19 Pandemic era has magnified the challenges faced by general contractors when procuring equipment and materials. Now more than ever, general contractors fall victim to late deliveries, delinquent payments, price fluctuations, warranty issues, and heightened risks of loss and liability.
These problems can stem from various sources of legal rights and obligations—such as construction contracts, purchase orders, the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), and bargaining power disparities.
