SENIOR COUNSEL

COLBY BINFORD (Houston) – Colby Binford’s practice focuses on construction law, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. He represents general contractors, subcontractors, and small and mid-sized companies in a variety of construction and business-related disputes. He has represented clients in over 200 bench trials and multiple jury trials in the course of his career. He also has extensive experience representing national multifamily developers and property management companies with operational disputes.

Colby received his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and Bachelor of Arts degree from Sam Houston State University.

SENIOR COUNSEL

VED CHITALE (Houston) – Ved Chitale is a Board-Certified Labor & Employment attorney focused on advising clients with issues such as discrimination, trade secrets, non-competes, non-solicits, unfair labor practice charges, FMLA leave, wage and hour laws, and worker’s compensation. He also routinely drafts manuals, policies, contracts, and agreements in a manner that best protects his clients’ interests. A significant portion of Ved’s practice involves dealing with government agencies such as the EEOC, the Department of Labor, the NLRB, the DHS, OSHA and even the IRS. Ved has litigated several dozens of cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act, dozens more under the Covenants Not to Compete Act on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, and dozens under the Texas Labor Code and Title VII. Ved has also litigated several trade secret cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants to resolution. He litigates breach of employment contract cases, fiduciary duty cases, and more in state court.

Ved received his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University.

SENIOR COUNSEL

BLAIN DONNELL (Houston) – Blain Donnell‘s practice primarily focuses on construction litigation, where he advocates for general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project owners in various capacities, including litigation, negotiations, contract claims, contract review, and appeals. Blain has tried cases in arbitration and in trial court. When representing clients, Blain strives to understand their goals to formulate a legal strategy consistent with their objectives.

Blain received his Juris Doctor from the Baylor University School of Law and Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.

SENIOR COUNSEL

ELLIOT KUDISCH (Houston) – Elliot Kudisch advocates for and advises his clients in employment, commercial litigation, and construction. Elliot represents businesses in matters concerning contract and complex commercial disputes, noncompete and trade secret litigation, civil appellate litigation, government agency investigations, class actions, and employment discrimination claims. Elliot was named a “Texas Rising Star” for his work in Employment Litigation: Defense in 2024 by Super Lawyers.

Elliot received his Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston.

BRYAN ACKLIN (Houston) – Bryan Acklin is a trial lawyer whose practice is devoted to business, employment, and construction matters. Beyond trying over 50 cases to a jury, Bryan has successfully represented clients in bench trials, administrative law hearings, and arbitrations. Bryan has significant experience handling OSHA matters and cases involving trade secrets.

Bryan received his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law and Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University.

CONNER BOURNE (Houston) – Conner Bourne’s practice is devoted to commercial real estate, corporate and commercial transactions. He has represented corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions, financing and disposition of business entities, entity formation, and the preparation of various business transactional agreements. Conner also has substantive litigation experience involving matters related to breach of contract, DTPA claims, and various corporate-related disputes. This afforded him invaluable experience in both representing a diverse set of clients and in spearheading numerous negotiated settlements to client satisfaction.

Conner received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and B.B.A. from Texas A&M University.

JOSH CUNNINGHAM (Houston) – Josh Cunningham’s practice is devoted to commercial real estate, corporate and commercial transactions. Working with developers, builders, investors, landlords, and tenants, he has represented clients in all facets of real estate agreements. He has worked with clients through the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and sale of various multi-tenant shopping centers, office buildings, apartment complexes, and mixed-use developments throughout Texas. Josh has also worked in general collection matters, foreclosure proceedings, confidentiality agreements, and other business agreements.

Josh received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and Bachelor of Science from the Texas Christian University.

MAYRA MALDONADO (Houston) – Mayra Maldonado’s practice focuses on litigating for general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and owners on a variety of construction related issues including: construction defects, contract termination, mechanic’s liens, performance and payment bonds, breach of contract disputes, and collections matters. Mayra also has experience in construction transactional matters, including contract drafting and review.

RYAN MCKEE (Austin) – Ryan McKee’s practice focuses on construction law, advocating for clients through litigation and alternative dispute resolution on various construction disputes. In addition to his construction law experience, Ryan has business litigation experience handling a variety of complex issues associated with clients in the supermarket and trucking industries. He has argued before multiple district courts throughout the State of Texas, and within Travis County.

Ryan received his Juris Doctor, M.B.A., and Bachelor of Arts all from Texas Tech University.

RAHUL RAO (Houston) – Rahul Rao advocates for and advises our clients in the areas of commercial litigation, labor and employment, and construction litigation.
