Foreclosure Defense Win

The Firm represented a real estate development company in filing suit to stop the second and third attempts by a Lender to foreclose a university student project located in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, which has an estimated value of approximately $286 million.  Our client, as the owner of the project and borrower of various promissory notes related to the Project, sought injunctive relief to prevent the foreclosure sale and actual damages under lender liability theories. After the Harris County District Court granted two Application for Temporary Restraining Orders and an Application for a Temporary Injunction, our client achieved a successful settlement.
