Andrews Myers Elects Adam Robertson to Shareholder; Andy Clark promoted to Senior Counsel

HOUSTON, TX (January 2, 2024) — Andrews Myers is pleased to announce that Adam Robertson has been elected Shareholder and Andy Clark has been promoted to Senior Counsel in the Houston office.

ADAM ROBERTSON – Adam Robertson is a seasoned litigator with a practice focused on construction, business, and real estate disputes. He regularly represents clients in defects claims, schedule delays, warranty issues, payment disputes, lien actions, and claims involving changes in scope of work. His real estate practice encompasses disputes over boundaries, easements, partitions, adverse possession, good faith claims for mineral rights, restrictive covenants, and lease agreements. Adam also has significant experience with corporate transactions involving breaches of fiduciary duty, non-compete agreement violations, trade secret misappropriation, and other business torts.

Using his experiences from his diverse litigation background, Adam regularly advises his clients on best business practices and proactive contractual provisions to mitigate or avoid legal liabilities. He aims to understand each client’s unique business objectives and challenges to provide tailored guidance.

Adam joined the firm in 2020, and also proudly serves as a coach for the University of Houston Law Center’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and the University of Houston Law Center’s Mock Trial Team.

Adam received his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Edward’s University.

ANDREW J. “ANDY” CLARK – Andy Clark represents clients in a wide range of cases—including construction, commercial, and employment disputes.

His commercial experience includes representing businesses and individual stakeholders in breach of contract, negligence, fraud, fiduciary duty, conversion, antitrust, product liability, and federal statutory actions. His construction experience includes representing owners and contractors in disputes involving large industrial facilities, public works, and other construction projects.

Andy’s employment experience includes non-compete and trade secret litigation, wage-and-hour collective actions, employment discrimination claims, and Department of Labor and EEOC investigations. He also routinely assists employers in negotiating agreements, drafting employment policies, investigating internal complaints, and complying with federal and state employment laws.

Andy received his Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. He joined the firm in 2018.
