Andrews Myers Names Two New Senior Counsel in Houston: Kenton Andrews and Christopher J. Love
HOUSTON, TX (January 9, 2017) — Andrews Myers is pleased to announce that Kenton Andrews and Chris Love, both construction attorneys based in Houston, have been promoted to Senior Counsel.
KENTON ANDREWS – Kenton Andrews is an 8-year construction attorney with a practice focused on dispute resolution, contract negotiation and litigation of construction related issues. He has significant experience representing clients’ interests dealing with commercial, industrial and government projects – including procurement issues, bid protests and administrative appeals in the public sector. In addition to his construction practice, Kenton also routinely represents clients’ interests in other commercial disputes, employment related disputes arising from non-competition agreements and breach of fiduciary duties.
Kenton joined Andrews Myers in 2009, and now leads the firm’s involvement with the Houston Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.
He received his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Tennessee.

CHRISTOPHER J. LOVE – Chris Love is a 9-year attorney whose practice focuses on construction law, energy construction law, alternative dispute resolution, commercial litigation and employment issues in which he represents general contractors, subcontractors, and small to mid-size companies in a variety of construction and business related disputes. He has successfully argued and won five separate Motions for Summary Judgment in Texas state courts on behalf of Owners, Contractors and Subcontractors. In addition to his construction practice, Chris also has significant experience with oil & gas, environmental and personal injury matters.
Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Chris was a member of Halliburton’s litigation team, working in connection with all civil litigation and investigations concerning BP’s Macondo well blowout in the Gulf of Mexico.
Chris is active in both the American Subcontractors Association’s national and Houston chapters.
He received his Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, where he was also a proud member of the Corps of Cadets – Company E-1.
