Contract and Negotiation Strategy for Large Chemical Firm
Andrews Myers was retained to represent a US subsidiary of a major global chemical company on their expansion project located in the lower US gulf coast. The firm assisted in developing the contracting strategy, drafted all aspects of the Process Design Package and Front End Engineering contract, developed a term sheet to establish material contract terms for the execution phase of the project and was lead chair in the negotiations with several tier one EPC contractors. Andrews Myers concluded all negotiations up to selection of the lead contractor and execution of the PDP/FEED contract. The firm’s representation included negotiation of the EPC phase contract and supporting the project team during execution.
