HOUSTON, TX (January 1, 2021) — Andrews Myers is pleased to announce that Chris Love and Bret Rycroft have been promoted to Shareholders.
CHRISTOPHER J. LOVE – Chris Love is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on construction law, alternative dispute resolution, commercial litigation and labor and employment issues in which he represents general contractors, subcontractors, and small to mid-size companies in a variety of construction, energy and business related disputes.
Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Chris was a member of Halliburton’s litigation team, working in connection with all civil litigation and investigations concerning BP’s Macondo well blowout in the Gulf of Mexico.
Chris received his Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.

BRETON A. RYCROFT – Bret Rycroft is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He represents a diverse group of clients across numerous industries, including real estate, property management, construction, oil and gas, energy and Texas businesses, in matters related to breach of contract, employment disputes, construction defect claims and business-related tort issues.
Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Bret was a trial attorney for a Texas-based business litigation firm, and was also a member of the Washington D.C. trial team for Roger Clemens.
Bret received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
