Andrew Kidda’s practice is devoted to commercial real estate, corporate and commercial transactions.
Andrew first joined the firm as a summer law clerk in 2022, and continued clerking with the commercial real estate practice group through 2023. During that time he gained experience in preparing documents required for loan closings, assisted with Condominium Information Statements and other related documents for a luxury high-rise development, and drafted agreements for multiple business entities.

- Represented a Houston-based developer in the acquisition, financing, and development of an approximately 3,900-home master planned community covering approximately 1,500 acres in the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area.
- Represented several developers in the acquisition, financing, development, and disposition of multiple, large mobile home parks throughout Texas.
- Represented local developer in the acquisition and development of various projects throughout Texas.
- Represent developer in the acquisition, development, and leasing of a retail center in Houston, Texas.
- Represented several investors and developers in the acquisition and disposition of various multi-family assets throughout Texas.
- Represent several investors in the acquisition, financing, and disposition of various retail, office, industrial / warehouse, and unimproved assets throughout Texas.
- Represented developers of luxury hi-rise and horizontal condominium projects in Houston and San Antonio, in connection with formation, development and financing of projects, formation of condominium regimes and sales of individual units.
- Represented landlords and tenants in commercial leases of retail, office, and industrial/warehouse space.
- Represented clients in the review and negotiation of acquisition and development loan documents and the issuance of legal opinions for loans.
- Represented various clients with Texas business entity formations, conversions, and terminations.
- Drafted various contracts and agreements in the fields of real estate and corporate law.
- Analyzed various commercial landlord and tenant issues and assisted both landlord and tenants in resolving lease-related disputes.
- Performed title and survey reviews on multiple improved and unimproved properties in connection with various real estate transactions.
- Reviewed and negotiated several real estate documents with municipalities and utility providers relating to numerous development projects.
